Mediatic welcomes three new colleagues

Frédérique Blaauw, Thur Stadelmaier and Peter de Boer have joined PR and content marketing agency Mediatic with immediate effect. Branding specialist Peter de Boer starts as all-round marketing and strategy consultant. Stadelmaier and Blauw join the Amsterdam-based agency's fast-growing PR and content marketing teams.

The expansion is in line with Mediatic's growth ambitions and the agency's development. "I am very happy with our new colleagues," says Dennis Mensink, founder of Mediatic. "It is not often that as an agency you get the opportunity to broaden and aggravate at the same time. Together, our acquisitions form an ideal mix of experience and talent."

 

Synergy

Peter de Boer has a background in branding and was previously creative director at Viisi Hypotheken. After studying art history, he chose a career in marketing and design and became a board member at Saatchi & Saatchi, among other things. Besides visiting faculty at THNK, de Boer is also co-founder of beer brand WillsArk and Onna-Onna. "We have known each other for a while now," Peter de Boer explains. "During that time, PR and content marketing have played an increasingly important role in developing a distinctive brand position. Mediatic and I share the same preference for progressive organisations. In that respect, we complement each other perfectly."

A new step

Frédérique Blaauw studied communication and information sciences and worked at tender agency House of Tenders after completing her master's degree in journalism. After two and a half years, the Wijk bij Duurstede-born Blaauw now makes the move to Mediatic, where, as a medior copywriter, she hopes to surprise her clients with sharp and well-written texts. Blaauw: "As a copywriter at Mediatic, I write about a variety of subjects for different clients. My innate curiosity comes in handy. Getting the story down on paper clearly and attractively requires not only curiosity and passion, but also experience and cleverness. In the coming years, I therefore hope to develop an even sharper pen with the help of my colleagues' extensive editorial knowledge."

Top sports mentality

After completing his master's degree in communication and organisation at Utrecht University, Thur Stadelmaier will start as PR Consultant at Mediatic. As striker of hockey premier class Z.S.V. Schaerweijde, he hopes to score not only on the hockey pitch. Stadelmaier: "To perform at the highest level, you have to ask the utmost of yourself. That applies both to my career as a top athlete and to the rest of my professional career. Being given the freedom at Mediatic to combine both ensures that I can give my all: both on the field and for our wonderful clients."
